UNC has little trouble with Iona
Posted Nov 19, 2007
North Carolina offset early careless ball handling with punishing defense and accurate outside shooting to blow past Iona at the Smith Center last night in its home opener. UNC won 107-72 in the 300th game in the building since it opened on Jan. 18, 1986. Danny Green sparked a 52-26 halftime lead and UNC built its advantage to 71-34 in the first four minutes of the second half.
