Posted Nov 28, 2011
North Carolina offensive coordinator John Shoop, 42 and a former NFL offensive coordinator, is expected to meet with University of Richmond officials. The Spiders played this season under Wayne Lineburg, who took over as interim coach 11 days before Richmond opened its season at Duke. Lineburg, also UR's offensive coordinator, stepped in for Latrell Scott, who resigned on Aug. 23 after being charged with DWI.
