UNC has history of bouncing back
Posted Nov 28, 2011
In 2004-05, North Carolina’s highly-touted team lost its first game of the season -– but came back to win Coach Roy Williams’ first national title. In ’08-’09, the loaded Tar Heels lost their first two ACC games -– but ultimately won the championship. My point? UNC’s 10-point loss to UNLV on Saturday night did not look good on paper (or in the rankings), but it may ultimately be good for the Tar Heels.
