Bernard voted All-ACC; UNC’s Coples, Brown on first-team

Two days after breaking ’s 34-year-old rushing record at North Carolina, joined Lawrence as the only freshman running backs in school history to be selected to the All-ACC first team. Three area seniors — defensive end and linebacker of UNC and Duke safety Matt Daniels — also were announced as first-team All-ACC selections Monday. (Durham Herald-Sun)
