Having turned the corner into a week of national spotlight games, North Carolina’s mission moving forward is clear. Make sure what happened in Vegas — a disturbing first loss in this season of great expectations — stays in Vegas. “We didn’t plan on losing this early, obviously,” guard Kendall Marshall said Tuesday. “But I think it’s a nice monkey to have off our back.” (Burlington Times News)
