Roy Williams visits to see Mason Plumlee

Roy Williams entered pint-sized Mebane Fieldhouse on Saturday through a breezeway that feeds into the back of Christ School’s immaculate gym. Nobody needed to see Williams’ light blue argyle sweater or a 2005 national championship ring to recognize the University of North Carolina basketball coach. But his true purpose for the visit was to personally evaluate 6-foot-11 Warsaw, Ind., native Mason Plumlee.
