Withers still coaching as UNC awaits decision from Fedora

Everett Withers said Monday that he plans to coach the North Carolina football team in its Independence Bowl game against Missouri on Dec. 26, even as school officials await an answer from his possible replacement. According to Inside Carolina, Southern Mississippi’s Larry Fedora has been offered the Tar Heels job. The problem is it may not be the only offer he has on the table.
