Amid speculation on Fedora, UNC trustees to hold emergency meeting

Amid reports that Larry Fedora is set to become the new head football coach at North Carolina, university trustees will meet here on Thursday and Friday morning, the university announced this afternoon. The trustees are meeting, according to a university statement, to “hold emergency meetings on [a] personnel matter.” Before the hiring of a new football coach becomes official, trustees would have to meet and approve the hire.
