Tar Heels Shop For Area Families

Posted Dec 9, 2011
Members of the UNC men's basketball team helped brighten the holiday season for a number of area families on Thursday, continuing an annual tradition under head coach Roy Williams. Players shopped at a local Target store and purchased toys and other gifts, putting proceeds from the sale of team-autographed basketballs to good use. Each player on the team received the wish list from a local family and had $75 per child to spend. (Tar Heel Blue)
