Eight Tar Heels Earn All-Region Honors

Eight North Carolina field hockey players have earned All-South Region recognition, as announced Wednesday by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. Seniors Laree Beans, Rachel Dawson and Jesse Gey and freshman Katelyn Falgowski were named to the 16-member first team. Sophomores Illse Davids, Danielle Forword, Riley Foster and Brianna O'Donnell were named to the second team.
