J.J. Patterson named to Offense-Defense All-American Bowl, still committed to UNC
Posted Dec 14, 2011
J.J. Patterson, a senior at Roanoke Rapids, has been selected to play in the sixth annual Offense-Defense All-American Bowl at 6 p.m. Dec. 29, in Arlington, Texas. Patterson is rated a four-star recruit by Rivals.com, one of the top ten guards in the nation. North Carolina coach Butch Davis was fired before the start of this season, making some wonder about the recruits from this year’s class. Patterson said he is still committed and will sign with the Tar Heels in February.
