Even 20 minutes after it was over, Danny Green still wasn’t quite sure what to make of North Carolina’s season-opener. Sitting in front of his locker stall late Wednesday night, Green puffed out both cheeks and tried to summarize the intense 72-68 defeat of feisty Davidson he’d just experienced. “It was exhausting and frustrating. But we found a way to grind it out for a win. It took a lot.”
