Previewing Appalachian State

With finals week in their rear view mirror, North Carolina takes the floor on Saturday against Appalachian State, which is coached by former Tar Heel Jason Capel. Tip-off at the Smith Center is set for 6 p.m. and will be televised by ESPNU. Appalachian State enters Saturday’s contest with a 4-5 (1-1 SoCon) record. The Mountaineers defeated four of their first six opponents.
