Posted Dec 17, 2011
Clemson is in strong shape to land DE Kenderius Whitehead of Atlanta as he moves closer to making his announcement in early January his coach said Friday. Coach Mike Carson said Clemson recruiter Marion Hobby met with Whitehead earlier in the week and has the Tigers in good position to land Whitehead. “I think it would be Clemson,” Carson said. “It’s been Clemson, Georgia and NC State in that order for some time."
