Tyler Zeller Named Tar Heel Performer of the Week

Senior forward Tyler Zeller of the men's basketball team has been named the Tar Heel Performer of the Week for December 12-18, 2011 after scoring 31 points and pulling down 10 rebounds in a 97-82 win over Appalachian State. The Washington, Ind., native finished with 31 points, including 20 in the first half, in Carolina's 97-82 win over Appalachian State on Saturday night.
