Tar Heels trounce Nicholls by 50 but leave irked by spacey performance

With coach Roy Williams threatening to administer a 7 a.m. practice as punishment, North Carolina turned what had been a lackadaisical beatdown into an annihilation. The Tar Heels obliterated Nicholls 99-49 on Monday night at the Smith Center, piling up their largest margin of victory in three years while rebounding at a rate that impacted the school’s record book.
