Roy Williams’ North Carolina teams have tangled with Texas three times in three vastly different settings. All of them, though, from a second-round matchup in the 2004 NCAA Tournament to the basketball christening of billion-dollar Cowboys Stadium two years ago to last season’s dramatic finish at the Greensboro Coliseum, have produced the same results.
