Julius Randle stands tall at City of Palms
Posted Dec 21, 2011
Top-ranked 2012 prospect Shabazz Muhammad had the points, but 2013 elite prospect Julius Randle controlled the game and led Plano (Texas) Prestonwood Christian to a 76-70 quarterfinal win in the City of Palms Classic. Randle was a physical and emotional force, scoring an efficient 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field, 0-of-2 from three and 8-of-12 from the line. Amongst all the schools recruiting Randle, Duke, North Carolina and North Carolina State will get a visit after he plays in the Beach Ball Classic.
