Zach Brown Earns 2011 CFPA Elite Linebacker Trophy

North Carolina senior linebacker Zach Brown was named the recipient of the 2011 Elite Linebacker Trophy, announced Wednesday by College Football Performance Awards. Brown was a first-team All-ACC selection this year and compiled a team-high 91 tackles. He added 11.5 tackles for loss, 6 quarterback hurries, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions. Brown was named a Team MVP at the 2011 senior football banquet.
