Two days after North Carolina coach Roy Williams criticized his team’s intensity during an at-times lackluster blowout victory against Nicholls, the Tar Heels responded on Wednesday night with a dominant first half against Texas that carried them to an 82-63 victory at the Smith Center. Harrison Barnes scored a season-high 26 points to lead UNC, and also had a season-high 10 rebounds.
