Tar Heels take on Missouri in Independence Bowl tonight

Interim coach Everett Withers said that two words best describe UNC’s seniors: talented and resilient. The group helped reinvigorate the program and then continued to have success during one of the most tumultuous times in the program’s history. With a win over Missouri in the Independence Bowl today (5 p.m., ESPN2), the senior class would become the winningest class at UNC since 1998.
