North Carolina suffered a 41-24 defeat against Missouri here at the Independence Bowl. What happened to the UNC run defense? The Tar Heels entered the Independence Bowl ranked 14th nationally against the run. But they were completely gashed on the ground by the Tigers, who racked up 337 yards rushing and averaged 3.7 yards per carry.
