Shalane Flanagan Wins Miami Half Marathon In Record Time

Former Tar Heel Shalane Flanagan set a new Florida state record as she ran the fastest women's half-marathon earlier this month. The Olympian and American Record holder won the women's Dodge Latin Music Miami Beach Half Marathon in 1:59:58 and took fourth overall. Flanagan is preparing for the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials, which will be held in January in Houston. (Tar Heel Blue)
