Tar Heels try to put season in past

On Monday, Bryn Renner set a school record with 26 passing touchdowns in a season, and that also was ignored in the game’s aftermath. Instead, he focused on the Tar Heels’ early struggles in their 41-24 Independence Bowl loss to Missouri, their fifth defeat in the final seven games, and saying goodbye to the current coaches.
