Tar Heels seek modern-era home win streak mark

With a win today against Monmouth (3 pm, ESPNU), #5 North Carolina will have done something it hasn’t done since before was born — win 26 straight home games. “I was involved in 15 great years at Kansas, but one of the things that I really enjoyed was winning 62 in a row at home,” UNC coach said. “That’s what I want the Smith Center to be. I want people to feel like when they’re coming here, it’s extremely hard to win.” (Durham Herald-Sun)
