Harrison Barnes exploded for 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting to pace No. 3 North Carolina in its ACC-opening 83-60 victory over a Boston College squad that started five freshmen on Saturday. North Carolina (14-2, 0-1 AC) opened the game with an 8-2 run and added spurts of 7-0 and 12-0 in the first half to keep Boston College (5-10, 0-1 ACC) at a distance. (Inside Carolina)
