Giovani Bernard Named FWAA Freshman All-America


North Carolina redshirt freshman running back has been named to the 11th annual Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Freshman All-America Team. Bernard, who was a first-team All-ACC performer this season, rushed for a school freshman record 1,253 yards and scored 13 touchdowns. He became the first tailback to run for 1,000 yards since in 1997. (Tar Heel Blue)
