UNC offers 2014 center Jahlil Okafor


Class of 2014 center (6'9", 270 lbs.) from Chicago's Whitney Young Magnet School has received a scholarship offer from , according to Inside Carolina. Okafor becomes the first member of the 2014 UNC Basketball recruiting class to receive an offer.

Okafor is ranked as the number one center nationally in the 2014 class and is rated a consensus 5-star prospect by the three major recruiting services: Rivals, Scout and ESPN. Okafor now has scholarship offers from practically all major programs including UNC, Duke, Georgetown, Ohio State, UConn, and Arizona among others.
