Number 3 North Carolina used three runs in the first half and a dominant performance on the boards despite a night of poor shooting to stretch its winning streak – overall and against Miami – to nine games with a 73-56 drubbing inside the Dean Smith Center to end a nine-game homestand. “We knew what type of game it was,” guard Dexter Strickland said. “It was important for us to be aggressive.”
