Dexter Strickland electrified the Smith Center on Tuesday with a brilliant overall performance against Miami to lead the Tar Heels to a 2-0 conference record. Strickland scored 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting, figures which will boost his offensive statistics. But the points only tell part of the picture of Strickland’s evolution and maturation.
