Defensive stop gives Pack victory over Tar Heels

Daniel Evans couldn't look. The situation was too tense. The ball wasn't in his hands. A catastrophic collapse was a completion away. After trailing by 17 points early in the game, North Carolina had the ball on N.C. State's 7-yard line down by four on Saturday afternoon. After three incompletions, the Tar Heels had one more chance on fourth down with 6.9 seconds left.
