North Carolina - Defensive line: This is one of the biggest areas of concern after the departures of Quinton Coples and Tydreke Powell. Safety: UNC will have to replace two starters in Matt Merletti, Charles Brown and Jonathan Smith, so this position will have to be rebuilt for the future. Linebackers: This group was thin to begin with in 2011, and now the Heels need to replace outgoing senior Zach Brown.
