Beyond the Arc: Tar Heels hurt by bum knee

UNC’s national championship hopes took a severe blow Thursday when defensive stopper Dexter Strickland’s right knee buckled while driving to the basket against Virginia Tech. A day later, the Tar Heels’ worst fears were realized when an MRI showed Strickland had torn his ACL and will be sidelined for the rest of the season.
