Bullock, White asked to step forward in Strickland’s absence

When Dexter Strickland suffered a season-ending knee injury Thursday against Virginia Tech, it created two voids in the North Carolina lineup. The junior not only started all 19 games at shooting guard but also spent a few minutes each half relieving Kendall Marshall at point guard. On Monday, Roy Williams announced that sophomore Reggie Bullock and freshman Stilman White would have the first opportunity to fill those two roles.
