UNC makes up for football recruiting losses with three new pledges

Larry Fedora and his staff rallied by picking up three commitments since last Thursday from Alabama offensive lineman Caleb Peterson, Florida safety Clinton Heaven and Georgia defensive end Justin Thomason. Peterson had previously committed to Southern Miss, where his older brother, Taylor, played for Fedora. But he re-opened his recruitment about two weeks ago and took an official visit to UNC last Wednesday.
