Kentwan Balmer heard North Carolina State’s trash talk last year. He stewed silently as they detailed the ways they planned to send lame-duck North Carolina coach John Bunting packing. Then, the Tar Heels went out and gave the Wolfpack a beating that wound up helping lead to the firing of their coach. “Ain’t no fun when the rabbit has the gun, you know?” Balmer said. “They came in saying one thing, and we gave them something else.”
