Roy Williams to face former Kansas assistant Mark Turgeon

When North Carolina plays at Maryland on Saturday afternoon, it will be a reunion for coaches Roy Williams and Mark Turgeon. Turgeon played point guard at Kansas under Larry Brown in the 1980s, serving as a captain the final two years. Turgeon then joined Brown’s staff as an assistant for one season and remained there when Williams took over the program, helping him for four more. (Fayetteville Observer)
