Since sophomore Reggie Bullock replaced injured shooting guard Dexter Strickland in the starting lineup four games ago, UNC’s reserves have been outscored 80-42. In the past two games, they’ve scored only nine points. McAdoo, a reserve forward, played some key minutes when forward Tyler Zeller got into foul trouble at Maryland on Saturday.
