Records don't matter when State, UNC meet
Posted Nov 6, 2007
Tom O'Brien and UNC's first-year coach Butch Davis are big-name reasons there's plenty of juice in this game. If O'Brien wins it, he doesn't have a losing record for the first time since he arrived in Raleigh. And with games left at Wake Forest and at home against Maryland, it keeps bowl hopes alive. If Davis wins it, who will remember those four consecutive losses in September or that 27-point loss at Wake in October?
