Larry Fedora first made his name as an offensive coordinator at Florida under Ron Zook, and later at Oklahoma State under Mike Gundy, where he installed the balanced, high-octane spread offense that's made the Cowboys one of the most reliably prolific attacks in the country over the last five years. Four years in the top job at Southern Miss yielded four winning seasons, four bowl games and a Conference USA championship.
