Posted Feb 18, 2012
Isaiah Hicks' short senior season has been a major success so far for Oxford Webb. Hicks, the 6-foot-8 power forward recruited by North Carolina, had 20 points and 17 rebounds Friday night as Roy Williams watched him lead No. 2 seeded Webb past No. 1 and previously undefeated Chapel Hill 76-69 in the Carolina-6 3A Conference tournament championship. Tar Heels Dexter Strickland, Justin Watts, Harrison Barnes and John Henson joined Williams in the standing room-only bleachers.
