Rachel Dawson Named Progress Energy Performer Of The Week

Rachel Dawson earned MVP honors in leading the field hockey team to the ACC championship and is the Progress Energy Tar Heel of the Week for October 28-November 4. Dawson, a senior back/midfielder from Berlin, N.J., scored two goals, including the game-winner, as UNC beat Wake Forest 4-3 in overtime Sunday to claim the field hockey program's 16th Atlantic Coast Conference title.
