Tar Heels add to Clemson's frustrations in Chapel Hill

North Carolina, taming the Tigers for the 56th consecutive time at home, helped ensure that their 0-for-forever streak in Chapel Hill would live on by clamping down on defense. Clemson languished without a field goal and managed only five free throws during the final 7½ minutes to remain winless here since first visiting the Tar Heels in 1926, the middle of Calvin Coolidge’s presidency.
