North Carolina's 16-13 victory over Maryland on Saturday kept kept alive its hopes for a .500 season and bowl eligibility -- although the Tar Heels must win their last three games, beginning Saturday at N.C. State. It will mark Butch Davis' first encounter with the Wolfpack as Carolina's coach, although he is not totally unfamiliar with the rivalry.
