Harrison Barnes named ACC Player of the Week

Harrison Barnes, who averaged 23.5 points in UNC's wins at Miami and against Clemson last week, was named the ACC's Player of the Week on Monday. Barnes, a 6-foot-8 sophomore, scored 14 of his 23 points at Miami on Wednesday after halftime as the Tar Heels rallied to win. He added 24 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in UNC’s 74-52 victory against Clemson.
