Harrison Barnes throws his hat into the POY race

Last week Tyler Zeller stated his case for ACC Player of the Year honors with two big performances. This week it was his UNC teammate Harrison Barnes’ turn. The sophomore forward averaged 23.5 points in a pair of victories, including a dominant second half performance to lead his team from behind at Miami on Wednesday, to become the second straight Tar Heel to earn league Player of the Week honors.
