ACC should preserve N.C. State-UNC series

The vibe in the arena hinted that, despite the fact that North Carolina has won 18 of the last 19 meetings between the two teams – including 12-straight – the rivalry between the two schools still generates plenty of buzz. That makes the ACC’s decision to abolish the annual home-and-home nature of the series under the new 14-team schedule all the more difficult to digest. (Fayetteville Observer)
