Former UNC quarterback got a standing ovation at the Center during the Tar Heels game with Clemson. "It's awesome,” Yates said. “Being out there, (it) means a lot to me" Yates was in Chapel Hill to accept the Patterson Medal – the highest honor a UNC athlete can receive. It was just the latest in good things that have happened to the Yates since he left campus. (WRAL Sports Fan)
