With eight receptions for 88 yards Saturday, sophomore receiver Hakeem Nicks moved into third place on the Tar Heels' single-season reception list with 56 catches on the year. The Charlotte product has eight or more catches in four of the last five games. Nicks also caught his fourth touchdown of the season and the eighth of his career in the third quarter. (WRAL.com)
