Gritty game will help Tar Heels

North Carolina's players know their 54-51 victory at Virginia on Saturday afternoon isn't something they will bottle up and joyfully show their grandchildren someday bragging about how good they once were. But over the course of a basketball season, especially in a league as diverse and challenging as the ACC, sometimes finding a way to win that isn't so comfortable is the best way to grow.
